The WVPCA and Online Business Systems have partnered to bring you a 5 -part webinar series on Cyber Security. This series will prepare Participating Health Centers (PHCs) to face multiple different common Cyber Security Threats and help them develop a framework to create threat-specific playbooks to streamline incident response within your organization. Don't miss this opportunity to prepare yourself for some of the most common threats against Health Centers in the modern world!

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS:

  1. Develop a comprehensive Incident Response Plan (IRP), which is crucial to helping Health Centers effectively respond to and ultimately withstand a Cyber Security attack.

  2. Establish a framework to help PHCs develop threat-specific playbooks to streamline incident response within their organizations.

  3. Educate PHCs on different types of Cyber Security attacks and provide structured discussion on the requirements and best practices for a response to each type of threat.

Ransomware is a form of extortion software that can lock computers or systems and then demand a ransom for its release. The software is usually installed as part of a successful phishing attach on the organization. Based on the latest IBM Security and Ponemom Institute study, it's estimated that a ransomware attack can cost an average of $4.62 million per incident. This session will cover trends in ransomware, including considerations for business continuity planning. It will also provide a structured discussion to help participants develop their "Playbook" for a ransomware attack.
